Working Standardly In An AI-Driven Market.
Artificial intelligence is on the horizon; This is how to work smart, not hard.
I’ll talk about this:
🎴 A case study on how AI is taking over an industry.
🌾 (For Paid Subscribers) How my $100m+ non-AI clients deal with this AI movement.
The Case Study
A friend of mine was interested in stock images for her new website for a new practice. When she visited Shutterstock, she realized that those images cost quite a lot if you want to use them for commercial purposes.
Then a solution appeared in front of her eyes due to targeted advertisements from Google. You know they monitor and spy on everything we say. That solution was AI images. Some people have a few precautions around them.
Some believe that their quality is not good, that their fingers are messed up, and that their eyes look weird. However, the images she created with that tool had no problems whatsoever; they looked ultra-realistic and did the job very well. It cost cents compared to what Shutterstock was going to charge her.
At that moment, the photography industry, believe it or not, took a big hit because my friend was not the only person in the world who thought this way. There are thousands of people looking for images from photographers all over the world to add to their websites in terms of business photography.
The Future of Photography in an AI-Driven Market
This is quite a big market that impacts the photography industry in general because, at the end of the day, companies pay for bulk images compared to a single image of nature, for example, and so on and so forth.
In this exact case, you can see how it is very plausible that those AI imaging platforms would actually take over the entire photography market in the upcoming 10 to 15 years. There will, of course, be some vintage freelance photographers who people just hire because they create a product that is supposedly man-made or handmade.
That will always exist, but it will become a niche product compared to the massive market.
The average market might actually want AI images, and that's exactly how AI is slowly taking over this industry. If you're reading the news, you're going to know that it's not just this industry; it's just the tip of the iceberg. It’s going to keep on growing and growing.
Now, I’m a business consultant with over 12 years of experience and have dealt with clients from all sorts of industries. Let me tell you how my clients, who generate over $100 million in revenue, deal with this AI movement, especially when they actually don't work in or with the AI market whatsoever.
How My Non-AI Clients Are Embracing the AI Movement
Some of my biggest clients are in extremely boring industries, like agriculture.
These clients have inherited farms from their grandfathers or fathers, and they have kept on growing them into an astonishing amount of annual revenue. You'll always need tomatoes to eat, so this is not a questionable market.
When the AI market showed up, I engaged in conversations with these people, and their world has not changed.
