đ Hereâs a TLDR summary:
đŚžÂ Grokâs starting to show up for early release. Grok is Elon Muskâs AI from the initiative xAI that he created.
đ¤ Is there such a thing as too many AI bots? The market is becoming very saturated and mostly by heavy pockets like Elon, Microsoft, and Amazon.
đź AI is affecting our lives. The ârich folksâ are controlling the spread of AI. Hence, our everyday life is being swayed by those heavy investors.
Grok, really?
Elonâs answer to the growth of the generative AI wave is creating a new chatbot. I mean, itâs not like we have five good ones so far.
Itâs one of those technologies that people believe are going to be the base of everything, similar to the internet.
The truth is you and I can sit and watch. Our behaviour wonât really control what we see when it comes to this technology. Itâll show up in front of your eyes whether you like it or not. Itâs decided by a few people who control the market.
Hereâs a video about this article from my editor. Youâll enjoy it.
Too Many Bots
It was cool when ChatGPT was released, a bot that actually could do something useful. Then, another came out with the name Google Bard. It wasnât as good, but it could do some online research.
Then, another was released by a company backed with $4 billion from Amazon, Claude.
Then Iâve heard of Pi, one that can have funny conversations with you.
There will come a moment when itâs just too many. If you go back in time fifteen years, youâll find me on my windows desktop choosing a browser to use. Google Chrome was not that cool. There were at least ten that are cool in their different ways.
Iâd visit a friend, heâd have another web browser. But in time, operating systems and a few smart business deals led to Chrome being dominant. Apple pushes Safari down your throat if youâre one of their users.
In time, generative AI tools will shrink and a few will remain.
But you didnât decide on Chrome being the most dominant.
You didnât decide that you wanted Amazon AWS to be the most dominant cloud platform.
Itâs not you. Itâs that investor or VC pouring billions into Amazon.
Theyâre playing a chess game of our lives.
The reality of the situation is that those VCs or ultra-wealthy individuals decide whether Anthropic exists or not. They decided to give ChatGPT life. They decide whether they want it to grow or not. Believe me when I say that if those investors wants to kill a product, theyâd be able to do so.
But itâs not a conspiracy theory of some sort. They donât meet up and wear suits then decide on our future. Theyâre just deciding on which company to invest in thatâll increase their ROI. They believed Nvidia was worth investing in.
They added over $830 billion to its valuation in less than a year. Thatâs close to the entire GDP of Switzerland.
This will lead to you using a certain generative AI tool in the upcoming ten years that they decide on. The more I talk about this the more it sounds like a conspiracy theory. But if you invest in stocks, like me, then youâre a part of this.
The day I freak out and sell all my Google stocks, their end-of-day performance probably wonât flinch. But when the âbig guysâ decide on a sell of, youâll notice it.
This article is such a play on the people... what a plug.
