I have been in the freelancing world for quite a long time. I've had a wonderful journey at Upwork, then moved to Fiverr and Medium.
In terms of financials, they are quite rewarding. These websites exposed me to hundreds of clients with entrepreneurial adventures.
I met various people who achieved massive success and helped others get there. Eventually, consulting other businesses gives you a clear vision of how the business world works.
Then I concluded the first vital word that I pinned to my business life - Scalability.
This word was the reason I shifted from a Six-Figure Freelancer to Youtube and TikTok.
For one to be massively successful and have a great impact, one has to have a product that could reach millions simultaneously.
If I stood in the middle of a crowded city and started presenting something of value, I would never be able to impact more than a hundred people or so.
However, what if I am in a room with almost half the planet? They are not all listening to you, but in time, if you are actually saying valuable information, a good percentage of them would.
That's the world of YouTube and TikTok, effectively ending my six-figure freelancer status.
This realization led me to change my long-term business strategy to focus on YouTube and TikTok. This is where I could meet numerous people and try to have a tangible impact.
Additionally, the crazy algorithm of TikTok revolutionized how quickly one could reach millions. Thereby, you will find me on these channels doing my best to deliver valuable content (sometimes funny.)
